Simply Tasheena

Up until two years ago, I would have to drive thirty minutes to my closest Trader Joes. Trust me, I enjoyed the drive, and it was actually directly across from my childhood mall, so I really enjoyed going there. About two years ago, Trader Joe’s was built about 10 to 15 minutes away from me. I was super excited, and of course, it has been my go-to Trader Joe’s ever since. If you follow me on Instagram you know I rave about these products during my shopping trips. Below, I’m sharing my Vegan Frozen Foods Favorites at Trader Joe's.

Trader Joe's Vegan Frozen Foods Favorites

Kung Pao Tempura Cauliflower
This is a newbie to my collection. I’m so happy that I’ve stumbled about it though.

Trader Joe’s Vegetable Fried Rice
This has been my goto ever since I started shopping at Trader Joes. This rice is so yummy, I typically enjoy it by itself.

Trader Joe’s Vegetable Gyoza
I tried this for the first time last year and I’ve been hooked ever since. I typically will purchase a couple of bags during my shopping trip. These are so good. I typically pair them with a homemade garlic sauce.

Refrigerator  Items

Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Rolls (Not a frozen item, but close enough)
So this isn’t a frozen item, and you actually CAN’T put it in the freezer. However, I tried this for the first time over the holidays, and I have to have a can on hand. These babies are so soft and yummy.

Trader Joe's Sausage-Less Sausage
This is another item that's not typically frozen. However, once I arrive home, I typically place it in the freezer until I'm ready to use it. I typically will cook the entire pack for meal prepping.

LightLife Smart Dogs
This has been another goto for years, I will typically separate the pack to, portions of two.

Are you a Trader Joe's Shopper?

Amazon is one of my favorite places to shop. I pretty much purchase anything and everything from there. I'm a Prime member and I love the perks. I'm often asked what are some of my favorite things to purchase from Amazon, and I thought it would be pretty cool to share with you some of the items that I've purchased and love.

Trust me, I know. You could easily spend $50 on two natural hair products. Well, I’m here today to assist you with how you could save while still purchasing the products you love. Check the clearance rack My local Target and periodically has natural hair items on sale from 10%-70% off. Don’t count Target out. Check the aisles during your regular shopping trip. You never know what you might find. Also, if you watch the video below. You will see how I scored some natural hair products that were regular price $20 and I was able to purchase them for $5. Yup! You read right.

Natural Hair Product Swap There are tons of local natural hair meet-ups/events. See if the event allows swapping. Trust me, I’ve scored some great products while swapping products. As a natural, it really doesn’t benefit you to keep products that just don’t work for you. That’s when swaps come in handy. You might even be able to find products you’ve wanted to try.
for email newsletters I signed up for Sally’s and many other newsletters and you would be surprised at what great coupon offers they have if you just take moment to read the email. You should also take a moment to look at the bottom of your receipts. Often stores will offer discounts if you complete a survey. Sales Learn when your favorite stores/company have their regular sales. Trust me, it really sucks to purchase a product online a day before the sale starts. Many companies will mention on social media when they are having their next sale. Don’t hesitate to ask them to if they plan on having any upcoming sales and/or promotions.

Ibotta often has $5 off a $25 purchase at Sally Beauty Supply.

Don't forget to checkout my Natural Hair Shopping Haul

I am I the only one that looks forward at some of my favorite stores? I love stocking up on my favorite products. Plus trying out new products. I am going to totally be honest and say I did several Google searches to see when Victoria's Secret would be having their sale (I missed the first-day last year). Yes! I was at the store bright and early too this year:). Anywho, I wanted to share with you guys my finds from Victoria's Secret, The Body Shop and Bath & Body Works, I hope you enjoy the videos :).

Did you take advantage of any sales this year? Do you plan on going

PS: Ibotta currently has a rebate for the Body Shop spend $40 and get $10 back.

If you follow me on Snapchat, I'm typically at my local Dollar Tree way too often. During my last visit. I was able to pickup some great finds. I love finding items that you typically will not find at the Dollar Tree. I found some great ones during this shopping trip :).

Anywho, check out the video :).

It's been almost three months since I purchased my Damier Neverfull bag and I thought to myself why not give a recap? I know I find Blog post and YouTube videos like this really helpful.

{I'm not getting compensated for this post. However, LV email, me at ourdelightfulhome at yahoo.com if you would like to send anything my way.}

I own three LV vintage/ previously owned bags. However, I really wanted to invest in the Neverfull bag. I honestly didn't know when, though. My sister purchased her Neverfull bag last year so she would always ask me "so when are you purchasing your bag?"
I honestly went back and forth with myself so many times. About which design I wanted. I opted to go with the Damier print. However, the big question was so when?
Christmas came and went and nothing happened. A couple of days before my 30th birthday. I thought to myself "how cool would it be to purchase the purse my birthday?"
You see, Months prior I went on the LV website to determine how much the complete total of the purse would be. I love that you find out the complete prices with products with the tax included...

My closest LV store is at one of my local malls. The store opened a couple of years ago.

The Day
The day of my birthday. I went to the mall with the Mister after going out to lunch with my mother-in-law.
I think I had butterflies in my stomach that entire night prior.

While at the LV store my assistant was very helpful. I knew exactly what I wanted.
Size, print etc. so I was not in the store very long. I believe she offered to show me other products as well and even did like a full run through of the bag...

Yup, I asked to have my items wrapped, why not? Next time I'm going to enjoy the full experience and ask for a catalog to look through. Lol j/k

I received the care instructions. (Because the bags cannot be left in the gift boxes.) my receipt and was on my way.
The person who helped me followed up with me by email which was really sweet. Since pictures are not allowed to be taken in the store. I did not take any.

Today was the first time in many years that I didn't get the "Pick Overs" of after Christmas items at one of my local Targets. The pickings were very slim when my Favorite Target marked Christmas items down to 50% off.

My son asked me to take him to the mall. I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to stop at Walmart. However, Something was telling me to stop at the Target closest to me and boy I was so happy that I did. You see, for the past couple of years. The pickings have been slim about time I make it to the store...

I was able to find so many great items. I've even found items that I plan on using for my planner.

I was super excited about finding the countdown tree. If you follow me Snapchat. I've had my eye on this gem all season.

I am also a huge fan of cheese. So I was pretty happy when I found smoke cheddar on sale 50% off. $2.50 each.

I also found little dog coats for my Lukie that were on clearance for .90 cents. Can we say huge score, especially when similar items were on sale at TJMaxx for $8.00 and CVS for $4.00

Anywho, I am super happy with my finds. Are you an after Christmas sale shopper?

Happy Monday!

Sharing some "Back to School" items I was able to snag during the summer sale at H&M.  I'm not sure why it's so hard to "ball on a budget" while shopping for boys. However,  I try my best to know when all of my favorite stores have sales. Since my little guy entered middle school last year, we had to sadly stop shopping at GYMBOREE. Even though he could still fit the clothing. I didn't want him to get teased (kids can be so mean no days)... Last year I had to re-introduce myself to H&M. To be honest, the transition to H&M has been awesome.. He loves the clothing and I love the prices. Anywho, check out my haul!
