Semi-Homemade Nonalcoholic Bellini
Last year around this time. My sister called me after having brunch and she raved about having a peach, Bellini. She was in the process of hosting her first event at her new home and she wanted that to be the signature drink of the day. Prior to leaving for her house, she told me what to pick up from the store and as soon as I arrived at her home. The mix drinks magic started to happen. I'm all for fruity drinks. Let's actually take a moment to “cheers to fruity drinks and warmer weather” what I did notice is that we had no other alternatives for someone who didn't want an alcoholic beverage. The weather is warming up in Connecticut and the invites will soon follow. On a whim, I decided to create a semi-homemade nonalcoholic Bellini. Let me tell you that this drink is AMAZING! Perfect for brunch with the kiddos. Diet friendly, no added sugar and is perfect to have on a whim or to make at your next event.
Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 bottle sparkling water
- 1 WholeFruit fruit bar (I had mango in this pic)
- Mint (optional)
Instructions
- Unwrap the fruit bar and divide the bar into two champagne flutes (you can cut into 4 sections) half of the bar for each glass
- Add the bar to the bottom of the glasses (don't allow melting too much)
- pour your desired amount on top of the fruit bar
- Mix with a spoon, garnish with mint and serve!

That sounds so good. We are having a party here in a few weeks and that sounds like a drink I definitely want to serve to my guests.

ReplyDeleteReally like this is non alcoholic. Not all of us enjoy drinking so this is perfect. Plus the kids can enjoy if they want to. Love the freshness of this drink.
ReplyDeleteThis would be amazing to sip on, especially now that it's getting hot out! I might have to make one while I flip through a good book on my porch.
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun to meet for the entire family. The kiddos could enjoy the exact same drinks as adults are. I know my kiddo always wants to be a drinking something the grown ups drink!
ReplyDeleteOK now this sounds like a delicious drink, I don't drink alcohol at all so I am all for finding new non-alcoholic drinks to give a whirl.
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to drink at brunch but I end up a little tired so non-alcoholic works well for me. I will try to make this at my next party.
